Nantucket Whale Inn | Half Moon Bay Hotel

Absolutely the cutest bed & breakfast ever. So cozy & welcoming. Staff for our check in was amazing giving us a tour of the place and explaining all the amenities. Assured us she was there for us until 6pm her clock out time. So convenient for walking down Main Street and being walking distance for dinner and drinks. We stayed in Great Point room. It was perfect!

My wife and I stayed at the Nantucket Whale Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary and are so glad that we did. We are North Bay residents and wanted a low-key relaxing getaway and Half Moon Bay certainly fit the bill. While it was a holiday weekend and the weather was beautiful, activity in the heart of downtown was lively, but not overcrowded. Our stay at the NWI couldn't be more perfect. The staff was welcoming and hospitable, the room was spacious, comfortable, spotless and pristine throughout, and the breakfast was served fresh and delicious. Parking on-site or on the street was always available. Shopping and dining were just a short walk away, but far enough to provide lots of peace and quiet. The only time we needed to get in the car was to drive about a mile to the beach to watch the sunset. It's hard to believe this experience is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend the NWI, and will surely be back again.

My wife and and I spent our Honeymoon at the Bed and Breakfast Nantucket Whale Inn in Half Moon Bay. The staff was very friendly we mentioned to them we had just got married and they left several wine bottles in the main living room for us to help ourselves. In the living room there was also fruits, a coffee maker, tea bags, board games, and movies. We stayed in the the Nantucket room on the second floor with the hot tub which was amazing. The room was very clean and fully equipped with a bathroom, shower/ hot tub, microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, fireplace/heater, air conditioning, and a TV. We were asked what time we wanted Breakfast in bed by the staff. They brought a wonderful delightful breakfast in the morning at the exact time we mentioned. We were served orange juice, scrambled eggs, sausage, white toast and a bowl of mixed fruits. I would recommend this location to couples who want to stay a nice simple getaway location. Cheers!

This is a beautiful, quaint B & B in a great area that gives you easy access to drive to the beach or horseback riding. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable. In the evening they offer complimentary wine and cookies. The breakfast is also very good. We stayed in the suite. I highly recommend it. Oh, I should have started with the staff: very professional, kind and accommodating. They will take great care of you. I would definitely go back.

Lucky us! We had the good fortune to book our stay at the Nantucket Whale Inn during our California trip in July. The Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. The bright, window-filled Light Ship room we stayed in had every amenity imaginable and a wonderfully comfortable King size bed. Breakfast was scrumptious, the evening wine bar was a welcome respite, and the location of the Inn to Half Moon Bay's quaint downtown area with interesting shops and eateries was just perfect. So wish we had booked more nights during our trip. The room rates are quite reasonable given all the Inn has to offer. When we next visit this part of California, the Nantucket Whale Inn will definitely be on our itinerary. Thank you for such a great experience!

Highly recommend anyone looking for quiet get-away with exceptional service from the minute you arrived until the morning you leave! David is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are quaint and comfortable with a Nantucket vibe. Breakfast was amazing every morning. The back patio is filled with flowers, trees, a water fountain and fire pit which made it a perfect spot to read a book, play a round of cards or sit and enjoy a glass of wine. We felt at home with such personal attention! Not to mention the town is darling and everything was within walking distance including the beach that had a bike path that went on for miles! A perfect place to run, ride a bike or take a stroll enjoying the beautiful beach views! We will definitely return!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Nantucket Whale Inn in Half Moon Bay, and it was a wonderful experience. Located downtown it offers the perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and location with a great coastal charm. My room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with great amenities. The bed was comfortable, the room was nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beautiful outdoor patio area is perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying a cup of coffee. Nantucket whale Inn was delightful. Our room was cozy.! Breakfast was fantastic. There was coffee ,tea, hot chocolate available all the time. Red and white wine available after 3pm. The weather was great so we got to sit out in their wonderful patio.
